That is one “error” CRA will never fix.
Why not? It used to work before this website update (though I haven’t tried since). Have you heard something that suggests there were problems resulting from it? You think CRA is discontinuing that option?

Has anybody heard when they expect to have the “technical difficulties” fixed? For these last two weeks or so, we can’t view or access the GST and corporate tax account transactions. Doesn’t work via MBA either. Anybody not still having those difficulties?
I was able to view carry-forward data for a client. But, getting a NOA is taking a lot longer. I was late with a T2 and needed the penalty & interest so I could deduct it from my bill, but the info wasn’t available right away. So, CRA has more people doing less work, and the few who are working are handing out bogus refunds in the tens of millions.
The good news is that they’re laying off 600 people before the end of the year so even fewer people can hand out more bogus refunds…oh, wait…

Corporate GST account transactions are accessible via RAC again! Not sure when they fixed it, but it still wasn’t available 8-10 days ago. Hadn’t tried in the last week or so, but it’s back now.
…and they STILL can’t do “debit - credit - balance”.
What a joke of a tax department these folks are. Getting worse by the day.
Anybody else selectively getting this “error 403”? I’m seeing it as I try to access HST details, other program accounts seem fine…have tried a few BN’s and getting it across the board. Is this the issue you were having, Nezzer? Today is the first time I’ve had trouble (recently)
I got that message this afternoon when I tried to view an HST return filed by a client. It’s always something. It’s a new one to me. I’ve been looking at a corporate client’s info on RAC. I haven’t noticed any other errors.
Yup, we’re getting that here too when trying to file GST returns.

A while back we asked CRA that they provide notifications on the website when there are issues with the portal. Glad to see they acted on our suggestion. Our second ask was that they include a timeline for the repair (when possible).

Steve - good to see you on here! There’s plenty of good info for EFAC to put towards CRA when you have your annual meetings.
(From the perspective of a good business, which CRA is most definitely “not”…it would be better to have monthly meetings…and then to actually make changes, That is WAY too much to hope for.)
