Not quite sure why, but from having one or two of these, I now seem to have most “complete” files (esp T2s) showing in this status…where they should just be “Complete”.
Am I doing something unanticipated to accomplish this?
Files are generally marked “Complete” and generally also CIF/AT1 transmitted and files are locked.
Is there a way to change the status back to “complete”?
(FWIW I reported the same issue under Bug Reports in June 2023, but there’s been no response from TC.)
Done! I only seem to see them in the T2 area…I do have a few in the T1, but I know they were the subject of reviews as well…so not really a good candidate there.
I got the files. Just so I completely understand. The issue is that these files should have a status of “Complete” but status in Client Manger is showing as “Waiting to start rework”?
Today I updated a mailing address in a T2 that was completed in July. When I searched for it in the Client Manager, it showed “Waiting to start rework” (as so many of them do). When I opened the file, there was a review message:
After unlocking the file, and updating the address, I also unchecked the box on the Info form:
Then manually re-typed the signing date, locked and closed the file. Now the Client Manager shows this file status as “Return Complete”.
However, I have other T2 files that show up in the Client Manager as “Return Complete” while that box is checked, and the review message still exists.
I opened another T2 file where the Client Manager showed “Waiting to start rework”, and the “Always use today” box was NOT checked, but there was a review message:
After signing off that message and saving the file, it, too now shows file status as “Return Complete”.
Maybe it’s just the act of opening and re-saving the file that cures the Client Manager status issue?
