Is there a clear explanation of how licensing for TaxFolder works?
For three user licenses of TaxCycle, how many licenses of TaxFolder are applied? How does this translate to the number of clients in TaxFolder?
For example, if a firm purchases 7 licenses of TaxCycle with TaxFolder. How many clients can there be in a TaxFolder for the firm?
I am probably reading incorrect links.
Each TaxFolder user includes unlimited signatures for up to 250 clients (unique client IDs). If you need to support more than 250 clients, you must add another TaxFolder user.
@anni is correct in how the TaxFolder licensing works. Each TaxFolder license includes 1 user and 250 clients whether purchased individually or as part of a bundle.
”This page isn’t working right now. www.taxcycle.com can’t currently handle this request.” error popped up each time I tried. Today, too.
500 series error is on the server site.
@Sarka, Then, how many TaxFolder licenses do I have based on the display in TaxCycle and the screenshot I sent to support? Brian said ‘buy’, you said @anni ‘is correct’.
TaxFolder is operating normally now. It’s possible it was scaling up to handle the increased volume when you received this error.
With 3 licenses you get 750 active client seats in TaxFolder, 3 users (team members) and unlimited signature packages and engagements. Active clients includes clients added and/or deleted in the current year. Clients deleted in the prior year are not included.
We do have a scope of work outlined to show the available license seats in TaxCycle on the start screen which I hope to get completed for next year.
