Taxfolder Add Signatures

I am in the process of trying to add two signatures to Tax Folder documents with dates for each of them. Is there a way to ensure that both signatures are on the one signature line, the program feels clumsy once you shrink down the signature field since the overlay of who is signing takes up the entire shrunken down signature. The next issue is you cannot move the shrunk down signature or adjust the signature box due to the overlay.

How did people resolve this issue?

Without seeing your document it is difficult to advise how best to proceed. If this is a document you control can you make the signature line larger to accommodate two signatures? If it not, then you could try adding the second signature somewhere below the signature line if you have white space to accommodate it. The PDF certificate at the end of the signed document will confirm that it was signed by both signers and the date when it was signed.

The signature boxes can be scaled and moved, but if you make them very small then you can have some unpredictable results.

Hi Sarka,

Has TaxFolder been having issues? I cannot do multiple authorizations on documents anymore and for estates need to send each trustee their own copy. As well, Do returns still require all trustees to sign or is one suffice for tax filing?

Thank you,
Dave

By multiple authorizations, do you mean multiple signers or approvers for a single document? In T3 where there are multiple signers TaxCycle does not support the print to TaxFolder or DocuSign for eSignature.

In this case, the electronic signature request needs to be requested manually from TaxFolder. You can add as many signers as you need there. Or you can add a separate client for each applicable Trustee if they all needs access to the documents separately.

If there is only one signer and you see First/Last name fields in the Authorized person section on Info print to TaxFolder will work as expected.
