T183Corp - Multiple Pages

I’m confused as to why the T183Corp is 2 pages now.

Nothing has changed on this form, except now the bullet lines seem to be spaced out more than before, triggering a 2nd page.

Is it possible to decrease the spacing in bullets at the top and maybe a few other places, to make this a one page document again?

It’s just weird that it’s 2 pages now with such a large blank space on the first page.

CRA has made it a two page form now.

They seem to like to make documents more pages lately.

IIRC, the Efile Association of Canada (EAC) has made representations to CRA about this already (without success so far).

Some dimbulb at CRA redesigned the form and didn’t bother to think. Period. They have some of the worst designers I’ve ever run across.

I didn’t realize it was a CRA change… that is so annoying!

I know that CRA must have it “their way”, but since the odds of the T183 being selected for confirmation by CRA is sooo low, can we have the option to print to 1 page regardless? I haven’t had any T183 requests in years, so I’m willing to take my chances. Lol!

This is not something to take your chances with.
I had full T183 audit, two years in a row. Plus it is confirmation that your client has seen and approved the numbers.
You can always print a single page - just go to Tools, Print Form, and specify page 2

I think I’ll just change my print settings to print “2 pages per sheet” so they are side by side on the one page. This way the client sees the whole document when they are signing.

The way they have it now, means they could actually sign it without even looking at the first page, which goes against the concept of approving the numbers.

Yah — the Feds got right ornery a few years back when I got some crappy scans back from clients of their T183s because they “didn’t look exactly like the originals”…
