Can some help in understanding what is included in the items below? This is part of TaxCycle suite inclusions but not part of Tax Basics.
GST = Goods and Services Tax forms, SER = Special Elections and Returns, UHT = Underused Housing Tax forms, and CPP = Canada Pension Plan forms

I know these abbreviations but my real question was that what functionality I will miss if I dont subscribe for the upgraded version of Taxcycle?
Most of those forms can be found online (CRA website) with the exception of SERs.
I’m not sure, but presumably if you only subscribe to Tax Basics the T2 module will not include the ability to upload special elections for your corporate clients. For instance a Capital Dividend Election can be file completely online using the SERs inside the T2 module. Otherwise you may have to paper file some elections or upload the election package through Represent a Client.
Other items that I use in the TaxCycle Suite are the T3 Module, TaxFolder, and T5018 slip filing.
It looks like the 2026 rate of inflation is 7.75% for the TaxCycle Suite.

I am just trying to understand the functionality value of these forms.
For example, for the GST forms and SER forms, would I be able to file GST returns through tax cycle and dont we have the same forms of SER when we file the T2 return with relevant schedule?
Hi Mazhar, GST returns can not be filed by TaxCycle you would need to file those directly with the CRA. For SERs HERE is a good webpage walking you through all the ones that TaxCycle supports digital filing for when completing out the T2.
