I added a new client engagement, client received invite to add documents, but tells me that she can’t add documents. There is a red broken chain and when hovering above it it says client portal not connected.
What is the best way for client to access and upload her documents?
If you see that the client is not connected to the portal (red broken link), that means they did not follow the instructions in the Invite email to click on the invite link and sign in with an existing TaxCycle account. If they are new to TaxFolder and they do not have a TaxCycle account they can create one. A TaxCycle Sign-In Account is required, and needs to be “connected” in order for a client to be able to access their portal.
