I installed the latest Windows 10 update last night. Now when I try to open TaxCycle the program crashes. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?
What version of windows 10 are you using
I’m using W10 Pro
what update did put in
I am running the insider build for the next big release and have no problem but will help you all I can
What you might want to do is reinstall taxcycle it might be that something changed on the update
It put in an HP driver update for HP LaserJet P3015, Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for W10 Version 1607, Cumulative Update for W10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems, and Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool for Windows 8, 8.1, 10 and Windows Server 2012, 2012 R2, 2016 x64 Edition-December 2016.
I let the TaxCycle program look for the problem and it says that “An unhandled Microsoft.NET Framework exception occurred in TaxCycle.exe .”
Not sure if that gives you a hint.
Try reinstalling taxcycle it may help
I’ll give that a shot. Thanks for your help.
No problem let me know .
Just checking in to see if TaxCycle is working for you now. If not, please give us a call on 1-888-841-3040…
Your dotNet framework may have been damaged by the update… you might try re-installing that. We can help you if you’d like.
Thanks for the follow-up, Cam. It isn’t working yet. I’ll call in later today.
I was also facing Windows 10 update issue in my laptop. But after reaching this post, I have successfully updated my laptop’s Windows 10. Thanks for this help.
