What is sent with Efile/Netfile?

Hello,

What is sent with Efile/Netfile? A client has been flagged for review and they were asked to submit T777. But I thought NEtfile/Efile includes T777 and other forms.

If I remember correctly I believe the only thing that gets sent with Efile/Netfile regarding the T777 is just the total amount claimed on line 22900. Unlike a business statement or a rental statement I don’t think the efiled T777 contains any selected financial data other than the total expense.

If I am not mistaken, I remember reading from one of the TaxCycle guys that all cells that have line numbers with black boxes are send to CRA.

Snowplow and Rein are correct. Only the items in the Black boxes on the actual T777 are transmitted. No other data.

It has been my experience that CRA always requests a copy of the T777 when reviewing employment expenses.
