I’ve never noticed this before.
When I start the app. I can access all my clients’ list ( with all related info, except the actual returns which reside on an encrypted folder) by just clicking on “Client Manager” without actually signing in my TaxCycle account within the app.
As suggested by TaxCycle’s help line, I unchecked the " Automatically copy to the clipboard the client’s reference number (SIN) when the cell is selected" in the Options section for Client Manager.
This works somewhat but I can still access the clients’ list by simply clicking"Quick Search > full list"
Would there be any way or option to deny any client info access until logged in my user account within the app ?
TaxCycle does not currently support permission based access of this type. If you are concerned other users can see all files, you could use the Private Server option to create separate Client managers and then only include folders that the specified user should have access to in the Monitored Folders.
If it is just related to the Quick Search - that is cached by TaxCycle to improve performance, but you can turn that off to see if that gets you the results you are looking for.
