Finally forced into Windows 11 and find that I can’t get my trusty Fujitsu 6130Z scanner to work. Seems it is not compatible with Windows 11. It has been a workhorse that has worked flawlessly for what might be 20 years. What is the latest and greatest scanner these days? I really only use it for Doxcyle.
I have three Fi-6130z scanners and they are all working fine with Windows 11; however, I did have trouble with the scanner with one computer where I could not get it to connect. It was just after someone removed it from the computer and reattached it using a different USB port. I found an article about it. During my trouble shooting, I installed an new FI-7140 scanner that I had purchased with a new PC on the affected computer which worked and figured why tempt fate so I just installed the FI-6130 on the new PC with Windows 11 that I had just purchased instead of the FI-7140, but from now on, when I move the computers, I just leave the USB cable plugged into the computer so I do not change it. If you have just moved the computer or changed the USB port for the scanner try to change it back. I also had to move paperstream with click scan
We use an Epson Workforce ES-400 II. I’ve never had an issue with it on Windows 11. I just put my documents in and push start and it scans perfectly to Doxcycle.
Like Steve, struggling with the Windows 11 migration. My Canon DR-C125 scanner has been great but doesn’t like Windows 11. Canon support has been superb. After a couple of sessions where they logged onto my system and tried various solutions, they escalated the issue. Several sessions later, they identified an alternative to their Capture On Touch software which has it working while they continue to try to get their own software fix.
In contrast, my HP M1212 MFP also had issues as I tried to use its scan function. My second support call ended with “Your product’s out of warranty. Buy a new printer”. Maybe, but not an HP. The printer works without their help so I’m good for now.
