Client genterally hasn’t filed T4s (owner/’ee) previously as was dividend only. Corp has an RP0001 account, which is “closed” if I try to file slips, per online error message….but is available on RAC?
Is there a way to reopen the account online…or….what?
I would assume you have to setup the Payroll Account again. Just go to Business Registration Online [BRO] and add the payroll account. I had the same problem with T5’s that were never filed before. Once you do that, I don’t think you should have any problem filing the T4.
I’ll try that and see if it works…I’m going to guess that it will be RP0002….

I ran into that, and found you have to call CRA Business Enquiries, and they will open it.
