I am sure its been discussed to death on the forum but if anyone can point me in the right direction here it would be much appreciated. I am doing nothing different on this file as compared to others which were filed without any issues.
Did you have opportunity to ignore error and proceed anyways?
Honestly, I don’t even bother to read $%$## message I get.
I always just try anyways… Happily, I always get an accepted confirmation email shortly.
If it still rejects… then check on website… is that payroll account closed? Does CRA have it as RP002 ?
If not, you may have to wait and call CRA in morning to figure out this one.
Best of luck
I filed it anyways and it got rejected. There is payroll account on CRA’s website which matches what I am entering. Though this is the first time we are filing a T4 under this payroll account. I will try calling efile helpdesk and see if they can help.
Thanks!
Had my first “RZ002” fix…have always filed these folks as an RZ001…apparently I was wrong, LOL. Got rejected and I wondered, knowing they DEFINITELY had an RZ account.
Hmmm…maybe their T5018s are RZ001? Sigh…what an absolute waste of time. CRA has finally gone off the deep end.
As far as I can tell, as long as MY RZ / WAC is correct in the bn15 field, it doesn’t matter what slips I file…as long as the entry on the actual file being sent also has the CLIENT’S correct RP/RZ and “001” or “002” etc. recorded for the type of slip being filed (bn or bn2 field)
