Uninstalled Taxcycle. However I still see Trilogy folders in AppData & Program Files(x86). Should I leave them as is and reinstall Taxcycle or delete them manually?
Attached is a excellent method. from 365 Co-pilot, to completely remove Taxcycle app & associated Windows folders and files.(I used the .old method instead of delete - worked fine).
I was having so many issues with templates since upgrading to Windows 11 laptop and related software updates, that I decided to proceed as described above.
After downloading Taxcycle and in process of re-install, there was a note indicating the software had already been installed on my computer with “cancel or update” as choices. Since I couldn’t find whatever file/folder indicated such, I just chose update.
Re-install was successful with new Taxcycle templates etc. folders/files. I don’t mind creating new personalized templates, preferences and contacts/business particulars.
