RAC Glitches

Rep a Client is glitching really bad since the last update. Our firm seems to be having the issue of if we put in a SIN number and then go to access another account and put in a business number, RAC continuously pulls up the individual that was previously put in the SIN section. This only seems to occur when a SIN is entered prior to a BN, not if a BN is accessed following another BN.

Just thought I would mention it!

I am experiencing the same issue. I have to login out, clear my history and log back in again to all my open platforms and multi-authentication. I hope the fix before tax season!

Same here. I signed out & back in again to get it to work.

Same with us, I’ve sent a complaint. The agent to whom I spoke to said that they are currently investigating it and are planning on do a maintenance update. Only question is when….

It was after a “maintenance update” that this started.

Yup… same here

According to their twitter twit, they “aren’t experiencing any problem with RAC” at CRA.

Right.

Had the same problem!

I had this issue but I think it’s fixed now

As of yesterday, I was still experiencing it. And here’s a new one…to me at least…haven’t seen it before:

NEGATIVE number of unread mail messages?!?

Just had it happen right now (the first thing)…and we have seen the negative mail too! What’s going on??

Now, I was a math major in university, and I think this is pretty much impossible. UNLESS you’re a time traveller and went to the future, read the mail, and returned to the present. And you somehow screwed up the CRA message counter. That’s my explanation.

Hi @Nezzer , to me the -ve represent what’s unread. Once you read through all three emails, the -ve counter should go away. Isn’t the case? If yes, then probably the unread is coded as -ve.

I saw that too in a few accounts?? Negative number for unread mail…

No @irfan - POSITIVE numbers indicate the number of unread mail messages. But, that, too, is not working properly. I have seen several instances where ALL the mail has been read, and on the Overview page it still shows a red circle with a number. Same as the one I posted above - all mail has been read. I’ve double checked that - viewed all mail each year, from 2023 back to 2014.

I noticed that yesterday at some point…
