Quick search issue

I think I am experiencing a bug with the quick search function. I’ve created a number of searches, and for the most part they all work perfectly. However, one of my searches doesn’t seem to want to remember the correct filters the first time I click it. This only seems to happen when tax cycle is first opened, and if I clear the filters, and then reselect the quick search a second time it seems to work correctly.

My filters are set up as:
-return type: T1
-exclude planning and training returns
-tax cycle files
-workflows:
engagement start date: yes
AND
data entry complete: yes
AND
first review completed: No

BUT, when I first click the quick search as described above, only the following filters are selected:
-return type: T1
-exclude planning and training returns
-tax cycle files

It seems to ignore the workflow filters for some reason.

Did you save after adding the other filters? I only ask because I’ve made that mistake.

Yep, saved, closed Tax Cycle, re-opened. I even tried creating a new quick search with the same filters and I come across the same bug.

I’ve been able to reproduce this. The list of workflow tasks is loaded in the background and it is possible to engage the filters before that has finished. We’ll have something in place to solve either in our next release or the one after that.
