I have a few clients I inadvertently set up for email contact from CRA when preparing their returns last year. They don’t want to set up My Account.
Is there an easy/any way to get CRA to revert them to snail mail? While filing the current year?
Easy way, No. Is there a way, Yes.
Registering for online mail with the CRA is like checking into the Hotel California.
Client will need to contact the CRA in order to have their choice changed back to receive mail via Canada Post.
