Any easy way of getting the red exclamation marks to disappear from the client manager for 2015 files regarding REFILE?
I have a bunch of them for 2016 too Arliss, which seem to be T1 files that were prepared prior to the Taxcycle release that contained the 2016 REFILE function.
The only way I have found to get rid of the red exclamation mark is to open the file and save it. An open and close doesn’t cut it. I don’t want to do this because I use the file dates to get a good gauge of which clients come in at what time during tax season.
My client manager guru suggests using batch recalculate, and then choosing the option to save the file after.
I do not recall this feature; however, it is April 29 and I still am working on a pile of returns
Would we get a notification if there was some change in the file after the recalculation or would it just save? ie. I would do this but would not want a file to change on me, other than getting rid of the little red exclamation.
