The why not is because the more the developers have to add to the program, the higher the price of the software becomes.
Most of us came here for a more cost effective tax solution (and loyalty to Cameron) so adding a ton of stuff that only a few are using is counter intuitive

Also, adding to T1 would not be a better way IMHO, but rather a very significantly worse way.
