Error on AFR

My AFR download has an error I’ve never seen.

Tax data was found for download but issues were encountered. Some parts of the data that were not retrieved may be available when these issues are resolved at a later time. The following databases returned an error: carryover, summary. Please download again and clear the checkbox next for data group causing the error. For further assistance, contact TaxCycle for support and assistance.

It doesn’t seem to be about slips, but all they have is a T4A CPP and a T4. Nothing looks odd about them on RAC.

I haven’t changed any settings and have downloaded dozens of files. Not sure what’s different about this one.

And I’m getting it again, as well…also getting required to log in a second time ….obvs more problems at RAC…yet again.

I’ve noticed that occasionally the ones listed under “bugs” don’t….beats me why though. :slight_smile:

We have multiple staff/RAC logins…its happening to all of them…so its not related to access.

The half dozen files we’ve reviewed for this problem…all the slips are available through RAC but will not download through T/C’s AFR tool.

For the files we tested, there is not s ingle slip type (TA, T4A, T5, OAS, etc) that is common to ALL of them.

So its either a CRA problem (but no email notification received), or its a T/C AFR problem.

Hi Wilco, we have heard from the CRA that the AFR group is aware of intermittent issues which is driving this error on the TaxCycle side. We can confirm that this is not a TaxCycle malfunction, and will wait to hear from the CRA on a resolution. Hereis a blog post that will be updated accordingly.
