Why it does not happen often the fact that DoxCycle does not support HEIC file type images is frustrating.
I am requesting that it be added in.
Agreed - I often just copy/paste into a Word Doc or save as png/jpg etc. But it’s a pain to have to do this … and lots of clients don’t have scanners so just pic with their iPhone. (Of course they can use Lens or one of those things and send as a PDF but many just don’t know or care.)
I have added this to our customer request list.
I use the portal available though Client Track to provide a way for clients to send without out a scanner and without having to create an account. They just have to click the link and it will allow them to add files or take a picture to send. The files are encrypted. I added my portal link for you so you can see what the client would get. Once they send, I get an email to log in and download. When there are multiple files in one send I download as a zip and conveniently DoxCycle will extract them. I have found this works great for me and my clients.
That’s pretty slick! I like it. If I weren’t SO close to retirement I’d be on it like a fly on …well, you know.
Makes it very easy for them to deal with, even the ones who are not too tech-literate.
As a total aside, I think we must have driven really close to you on our cross-country tour in 2017 as we were in Bird’s Hill and took Hwy 44 until it kind of rejoins the TCH way east. Interesting road that…where it existed…which it (mostly) didn’t in quite a few spots we drove through!!
