Trying to use the CRA ‘Make an online request - Transfer’. After feeding all the relevant data, it just stops when I hit the button SUBMIT.
Anybody having similar issues? What am I doing wrong (CRA can never do any wrong)?
I have had the same issue a couple of times. CRA may do no wrong (Ha!) but they can take a while to get things right.
I had a similar experience trying to transfer to a year where there was an expected reassessment (but not yet done)…just sat there and looked at me like a dumb bunny (appropriate, I guess, as it’s Easter Bunny time…).
Set it then to transfer to 2025 instead…still hasn’t happened and it’s been a week (but it DID accept the transfer request).
I tried to transfer personal tax installments to the taxpayers corp GST account. Same thing nothing happens. All the data fields are there for it to work but it doesn’t.
i gave up on it. tried 5 diff accounts and same thing. one account I tried several times and got a warning that too many attempts had been done. Still nothing
I’ve been there. At that point I just called CRA and had them do it, as frustrating as that is.
