On the “Info” worksheet, is it possible to carryforward the 2022 choice for the question “How does XXXX want to receive their Notice of assessment (NOA)?”
You can set it for new files but you don’t seem to be able to carry forward the responses from the prior year.
Seems to carry forward properly in our files, though I’m not sure where that setting is.
We have the default set to “Do not register client” and “Client receives paper copies through Canada Post” but if we have changed that in a prior year (i.e. to “Already registered”) that’s what gets carried forward. Then we get the expected warning message, “The notice of assessment method does not match the specified default” which we just sign off.
