2023 AFR does not function. Taxcycle or CRA issue?

Prior years still functioning.

It is shut down until late February as per the information provided by CRA.

Interruption of services – System maintenance

The Auto-fill my return and Express NOA services will be unavailable from 11:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2024, until 6:00 a.m. on Monday, February 5, 2024. (Eastern Time)

Thanks @helga_spence; I guess I just felt doing AFR now was too early so I didn’t check carefully.

I still can’t do an AFR download

Just to be clear the latest update has to be downloaded, not available as an auto update. AFR is working for me once I did the update.

I just noticed this bug on the 2023 T1 Billing worksheet:

  • under “Per Schedule Charges”:
    T1: Displays as “2021 Federal Return”.
    thus needs an override to state 2023 Federal Return.

You may want to check your billing worksheets to see if they state the year 2021 instead of 2023.
