I am assisting a client with operations in the US to find a US full-service payroll provider (would be the equivalent of Ceridian in Canada). They currently use ADP and are deeply unhappy with their poor level of customer service and response. Client is not large (< 10 'ees) and does not wish to learn US payroll tax (not surprising…nor do I).

Based in Ontario. I know the owner/founder (fellow ATAP/RPA member). They operate in several countries around the world.
Gusto is good. Wagepoint is good. Paychex is also.
I have used amd implemented all three.
Go with the platform that is easy /intuitive for you and the client to use.

I reached out to an American accounting partner in my network, and here are a few of the recomended options; Gusto, Trez, Rippling, or Paylocity.
Not sure if all of them offer managed services, but a few recommendations never hurt
