It would be really helpful if we (the tax preparers) could tell when a client has downloaded the files that we have uploaded to their dashboard in TaxFolder.

Thank you for this suggestion. We do have plans to add more visibility for client actions in your dashboard so you can see if they viewed/opened a document (for example). Currently this is focused more on the signature and approval requests section, but I will add this to the list of requested features for the file sharing section.
