Unable to do T5018 2024

I was trying to do few T5018 in Tax Cycle, first time, but looks like 2024 is not available Yet, I even checked the T4 and T5, looks like only up to 2023. I updated the software, so not sure what else is missing. Anyone has any idea what might be the issue? I was thinking maybe my package doesn’t have that, but it allows me to the 2023 one. So not sure if I am missing a step somewhere. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have only one client requiring these. They are on Sage 50, and I always file through Sage. Haven’t done their 2024 forms yet, but now I’m feeling a bit sick, and it’s not the flu.

I used to do the CRA Web Form, looks like that option is not there anymore for T5018, that’s why I was looking into it in Tax Cycle

I guess it’s just not showing, I opened the 2023, and used 2024 dates, and it allows the 2024 dates and print out shows that too.

I have a filed a couple without issue. Maybe a licence issue?

I haven’t filed any yet, it’s just on the main screen showing the year, all I see is all year up to 2023, but no 2024 showing, but if I clicked into the 2023 form, and entered Dec 31 2024 year end date, I am able to print the form.

Seems odd, I restarted the computer, login in again, took very long time for the process, now it’s showing. All good, Thanks.

But is CRA taking out the web form on T5018? I was going to do it there, but couldn’t find it. That’s why looked into tax cycle

Just thought I might share what happened with me. I was trying to do few T4 for a client in tax cycle, and experienced the same thing, I only saw 2023 T4 as the most current year. Knowing I had similar issue with the T5018, I l checked to make sure I got the most updated version, then log out, restart my computer, and re-login to tax cycle. Then I was able to see and do 2024 T4. So seems like we do have to log out once in a while, maybe to get some modules working.

LOL. Yes, if you’re like most of us, with dozens of software applications installed, and a hundred or so services running in the background, particularly web browsers or web-connected functions, you should log out of Windows once a day, to allow things to reset. In particular, if you have MS Update turned on (i.e. “download and install automatically”), it will block various UAC functions (for security) until you reboot.
