This is for Ontario returns.

Thank you so much for the most recent update that pre-populates box 61020 presumably if there was data relating to rent or property taxes in the prior year.

I have always used a manual memo in that ON-BEN form that says “Remember for next year” so that I wouldn’t forget to enter rent or property tax info for those who may qualify but the newest update flagging a diagnostic message on box 61020 is excellent. I no longer need to use memo’s to help me remember.

I also like the new change carrying forward the selections from the previous year. It would also be helpful if you could carry forward the answer to the “Type” as well. One less chance of making an error in a subsequent year.

I have passed the Type suggestion on to the team. This will likely be added for next year given the date.
