I presume the “Representative identifier (Rep ID)” is mandatory on the T183 but it is not flowing from the options for me.
For 2022, the RepID on the T183 is optional. A month or so ago, you should have received an email from CRA, sent to all EFILErs, stating that.
This RepID is that of the applicant, or one of the applicants, to the EFILE account. When you renewed your EFILE account, you were asked to provide it.
In TaxCycle, we added a field in Options, right under the EFILE account and password. It is not the RepID of the preparer which you enter in Options with the Preparer information and which appears on the Engagement worksheet.
