After filing my taxes and receiving my refund this year, I realized that I should have filed the t7777s as I work from home for my employer. How can I refile to include? The Change my Return option via CRA does not provide an option to include this adjustment
The T777s is gone for 2023. That was a only available to make it easier during the pandemic. Now you need to get a signed T2200 form from your employer and complete the T777. You might be able to REFILE with your tax software. You can with Taxcycle but I’m not sure what you’re using. You could try adjusting line 22900 directly on “Change my Return” but that will likely result in CRA requesting more information.
Ok thanks, i will look into refiling with the T777 for this year. I was using Ufile.
