Shink to Fit - Invoice

I don’t know if it is possible but I would love a shrink to fit option for the Invoice. Usually only a line or two is displayed on the second page. Would be a great feature if there was an option to make it fit.

Cheers

We hear you and will do our best to get this onto one page. How many detail lines do you have on a typical invoice?

In the mean time, you may be able to use the “Advanced setup” link in the Print Dialogue box. Depending on your print driver, you may have an option here to select “Fit to Page”.

It is usually only 2 or 3 lines that over lap. Mostly when doing a joint invoice. I don’t have the fit to page option :frowning:

I’d like to see smarter page options for the client letter. Luckily it can be edited on the fly

I would also like a shrink to fit option, but since I have a extra info (disclaimer, payment methods etc.) I don’t think it would help me much, or it would be so small to read.

What would also be very beneficial is possibly having the Combined balance show first (top of page one). In many cases the combined subtotal is as the bottom of the first page, then the taxes and total balance due on the second page, and there have been a few times the client doesn’t look at page two and pays the subtotal amount.

Here’s the bottom of page one:

@grangers2016 Can’t promise anything on the shrink to fit side of things. But moving the combine balance to the top is an interesting idea.

You could also remove the columns under combined balance and just have
Combined Balance Owing
That would free up a lot of space on the joint invoice or family invoice
