Screen corruption on opening

About half the time I open TC for the first time in a day, this is what I get:

Only way to fix is to close and re-open and it (usually) self-corrects.

Rebecca at Taxcycle told me it was an issue with my graphics card. Close and restart was my preference to spending time and money on a graphics card just now.

Can’t do that in my case…it’s on an Azure server via Remote Desktop!!

(Oh those software people…always blaming it on the hardware, LOL. )

It happens to me as well @SmallBizGuy

Not all that often though… maybe 2 or 3 times a week. A little aggravating, but tolerable.

Whatever screen you are viewing it on must be driven by graphics card or module in that computer or laptop. I’ve had the same issue several times over the years, and yes - replacing the graphics card fixed the problem. If your computer or laptop has an integrated graphics module or combined CPU/GPU, you may need a new computer. If your GPU or graphics module uses “shared memory” (shared with the main RAM of the computer), you might be able to fix the problem by installing more RAM.
