It would be nice if I didn’t have to check this to file a first time filer’s T2. Many of my clients are already registered with CRA (in fact it’s rare that they aren’t), so the address is correct on file and no changes are needed.
For a first year T2 return (whether they are already on CRA’s system or not before first year T2 return is filed), CRA requires that T2 Jacket line 030 be answered Yes. No exception. Hence, the reason for that review message.

Yes, it can be. I can add your suggestion to our system and consider it for a future release if there are enough requests.
