My client has asked that the medical expenses go on her return and not her husbands but Taxcycle keeps putting them on his return. I put 100% wife at the top of the schedule and I turned off optimizations. I don’t understand how to move them over.
Note that the expenses are for their adult dependant son if that somehow makes a difference
Half way down the Medical page itself… See where it decides which spouse… in my example there it going to Charlene… if you type 100% in Spouse.. Charlene will default to 0%
She may not be able to use the credit. Check to see if she can use them.
