We are a firm that just completed our second year using TaxCycle & Tax Folder. One of issue/problem/inconvenience I want to try and solve before next year is automating the process of notifying the clients of their file being completed.
I spoke with a TC rep next week, and there is no feature I can set up to have something get sent to my client automatically upon e-filing the return.
Option 2, which I’m currently exploring is a post-season letter in which I created a print set with just that letter in it, so when we submit the taxes for e-filing, we can take the short step of clicking on said print set to send off a letter of tax completion
The issue is that the post-season letter is more so a pre-pre-season letter and has nothing much to do with the taxes just filed and more so preparing the client of next years taxes, which isn’t something I’d want to think about as a client on the day my current year taxes got filed. I can’t seem to edit the post-season letter to a customize it for this use either because its
Does anyone have a fix for this or know of a letter/print set that could possibly accomplish this feat.
