As part of the CVITP, I eFiled a client’s tax returns. The EFile was completed sucessfully byt now the client says that I got her DofB incorrect. She may very well be correct but I am surprised that the EFile was successful with this key piece of data incorrect.

Sigh. I filed for a client years ago…with her correct b’date…and CRA told me it was wrong. Took us months to get it fixed. Now, that would probably take…years?
I have a similar situation to OP. A client I’ve had for 2 years just told me that her birth date is incorrect on her MyAccount.
Since I was using the correct one, I wonder why they didn’t notify me when I was getting the authrep and filing the 2022 or 2023 returns.
