I prepared a 2020 T1 return for my friend and it’s saying that this return can not be efiled, in the Efile worksheet it shows that this return is prepared by the Client. Don’t know why? All my info is there.
I am not charging this client, is there a change in the software that if you don’t charge someone, it will be considered as prepared by the client or it’s due to Efile is unavailable at this time? Does anyone else experience this?
If I am not mistaken I saw another post about this. I believe before Feb22/21 this will revert to paper filed. You probably have to wait until after they open E-File.
Yes, it is too early for efile. Wait another two weeks.
