It appears that there is no way for a legal representative of a incapacitated taxpayer to sign the T183 using docuSign. The taxpayer’s name comes up with no way to change it. Did I miss something or is this just not an option right now?
I haven’t dealt with it specifically but there would be no reason you couldn’t do it through Docusign directly. Create PDF login to Docusign and proceed.
We have been sending these directly through DocuSign. Works very well.
@Andrea - We are doing a download only release of TaxCycle today or tomorrow which adds support for this. You’ll enter the email address of the legal representative on the info page, and we automatically send the signature request there when the taxpayer is deceased.
