Thanks @Steven I was copying a link from my view, which makes sense that it was only accessible on my computer. I am sure @rosanna and @thomasvennercfp appreciate the new link

I tried one a few minutes ago to myself. It came through and I signed it and sent it back.
The Taxcycle system updated but, there are no entries in the inbox on the Doc u Sign site.
I have checked back over the last hour.
Cameron:
Can we use the docusign in conjunction with sharefile? If yes, is there a way to do so?

Hello @kevin1, Did you Login to DocuSign to view your signed documents or access linked emails.
go to Manage tab a the top then to the left scroll down to Completed. Your signed completed documents should be located therein DocuSign Site.
I found the problem,
I have an old docusign account that I used once to sign a document for an insurance company.
The information must have still been in my browser cache
Turns out my issue is related to update not installing properly.
We donât have any specific sharefile integration. Youâll have to check with DocuSign/sharefile if you can make those two play together.
Shoutout to @Cameron & Crew! Iâve implemented DocuSign into my workflow last night and it has already samed me 2 hours of work. In one evening, I was able to close 6 client files, something that usually takes a couple of days of one on one meetings with clients (sole practionner here).
Clientâs are loving the DocuSign system, saves them a trip back to my home to sign, pay and pickup returns! I send my clients their invoices throught QBO at the same time I send the T183 and all of them have paid at the same time they have e-signed the T183.
Hopefully, CRA will wake up and see this is a much needed permanent capability for tax preparers!
Again big thanks @Cameron & crew for this intergration!
With DocuSign, are users signing with there regular signature (using the computer mouse or finger signing on their cellphone), or are they typing their name and it is being replaced with a typescript signature? Also, does DocuSign post a date stamp on the actual T183 next to there signature?
Iâve been toying with letting my clients sign using Adobe Readerâs free signature integration capabilities, but am not sure if the date stamp is required in the signature box and if typed signatures are acceptable.

I was with Profile since 2000 for the 1999 tax year. From 2000 to 2007 I prepare taxes through very big and busy Liberty Tax franchises. One of the GreenPoint tech support individuals worked in my office for a couple of years so I became fairly adept with the complex reports and advanced features.
I tried TaxCycle in 2012 but switched back to Profile due to the volume of complex tax returns which requiring advanced features which were missing on the self-employed and other forms.
I finally switched permanently to TaxCycle in 2017 for the 2016 tax year and am very happy that I did. In fact, I regret not having switched earlier. The learning curve was steep but very worth the effort.
Overall I am very satisfied with Trilogy Software and the many TaxCycle modules and features. I am thrilled to bits with the outstanding tech support and the continuous improvements.
Now I make sure that I am on the monthly subscription so that I am able to keep up with all the updates and trainings throughout the year.
@Cameron So the price is $316.00 for the year. That is very high for a small business. So using the Adobe signature we can use but it doesnt link to TaxCycle at all like this DocuSign does correct? But using Adobe signature is okay to use Correct? I think in a prior post you said it was okay.
Thank you to you and your team for working so hard for us all
Cheers
Sherry
I was with Profile from 1996 (Greenpoint) until 2012 when I moved to Taxcycle. I continued to use the Profile T4 program for another year and the T3 program for two years until Taxcycle released their version. So I understand being with the program for that many years and the reluctance to change; however, once I made the switch, I have not missed Profile at all. I never regretted the change and I can tell you in my experience a suggestion for Taxcycle at lease has a good chance of getting implemented whereas, a suggestion with Profile virtually has zero chance of being implemented.
Appreciate your feedback, @james1. Thank you.
Intuit may ask for suggests even for QuickBooks but you can only dream that they will be implemented
I remember getting a hyped-up Profile update where the BIG change was color icons changing to greyscale. The esthetics were more important than fixing bugs or improving the software.
[BTW, in the GreenPoint days, Steve & Cam gave us great service.] Intuit is the culprit as this was all after Cam left Intuit.
Been using Tax Cycle since spring 2013 doing 2012 T1s.
90 to 96 Cantax. Great program until Cam sold.
95 was a struggle. Seemed to get it back together a bit for 1996 but then the Greenpoint offering and what a treat. Sold again. Not bad for a few years but started to spiral downhill.
Became a âfounderâ with Camâs new offering Taxcycle but continued with Profile as well for 2012.
Taxcycle is another beauty.
If he sells again I am going to quit.

I donât know whether my questions were correctly posted: So I am attempting once again:

Cameron,
Wish I had known that sooner, do you think they might adjust the billing?
@jimt â not sure, but I would contact them. Sorry, it took longer to get the discount in place than we expected.
