The ability to manage business addresses via Represent a Client has been “unavailable due to system maintenance” since at least Oct 17. Manage Addresses still works if you log in to your own Business Account, just not via RAC. Anyone know when CRA will have this fixed?
As far as I know, CRA has purposely disabled that due to the fraud that was occurring…
Thanks Bert. I was assuming the same thing. But, I’d like to know when they plan to open it up again. If they were planning to close that access permanently, they could just remove the link “Manage Addresses”.
So how are practitioners updating addresses for their clients now? Fax and snail mail?
I normally do it by phone (Business Enquiries). I did this within the last month and had no issues with CRA.
