In the Client Manager I get duplicate copies of client returns. Only one of the two or three listed opens the actual file. Why does this occur and is there a way of getting rid of the extra’s without having to reconnect my NAS and the CM every time?
Check your “Detailed configuration options” for Client Manager. I have seen this happen when you have the Client Manger server set up as a network server, and you can also access the same location through a drive letter. The network path does not start with a drive letter, so TaxCycle can effectively access the same file through multiple paths. I’m not sure why one “version” will open the file and another won’t - probably related to file system permissions for that particular path.
