I can’t seem to open a 2024 T1 file or even carry forward and plan from 2023-2024. I have clients calling and asking for RRSP planning. I called Taxcycle support and they told me this feature won’t be ready until end of Feb! How is that going to work when RRSP deadline is end of Feb?
That’s very odd as I have several T1 returns I have already rolled forward from 2023 to do some initial data entry.

I have had the carry forward and plan for a while now. Did you renew your Taxcycle subscription and/or update to the latest release? If you haven’t renewed your subscription that may be the reason.
Yes I renewed many months ago and I had planning in the fall. I recall already doing several of them. But now the option has disappeared. I called tech support and was advised that it is unavailable until end of February. Is it working for you now?
I had the same problem. Turned out that i hadn’t activated my licence. I emailed support and got a reply very quickly. They sent me a step by step solution to the problem.

Mine works… but you may have to fix a setting due to carryover into new calendar year regarding license renewal… best of luck
Wow thanks for your replies! Finally got it working. I emailed support and sorted it out. I don’t know why I received the wrong info when I called in. It’s gonna be one of those years again
