Can't carryforward and plan a T1 2016 file?

Hi

At what point can we start a T1 PLAN file? I have clients that ask questions about 2017 when I prepare their 2016 T1 return yet can’t seem to make a PLAN file from the 2016 yet.

And I doing something wrong?

I advise my clients that I get the planner in August. That way I don’t get a rush of people asking for planners immediately when I prepare their tax returns!

(So, trilogy, no I don’t want the planner now!)

I’m with Tim on this. Any time after April 30 is fine with me.
