Can the whole office use one template for client letters?

All the CAs in our office print tax returns from their own computers, and a number of people are involved in sending “incomplete information” emails.

Is it possible to store the templates in one location an have all the workstations access it?

How? Also, do my custom templates not carry forward to the new year? I created them all for 2013, but when the 2014 preview release came out they were not available in 2014.

It is possible to save and access your templates from a centralized location.

  1. Save the templates to a folder accessible to everyone who will use the templates.
  2. Open Options and go to TaxCycle, then General on the left side of the dialog box.
  3. On the right, scroll down until you see the Common folders section.
  4. Next to the field where you specify the templates folder, click the three dots.
  5. Browse to the location where you put the templates and click OK.
  6. Do this on each computer that will use the templates.
