Adding TEXT FIELD on TAX FOLDER

When sending clients documents to sign directly from TAXFOLDER I want TAXCYCLE to add the ability to add text field, right now its only date and signature.

With the way the CRA wants accountants to get access to new clients one of the fields that needs to be entered is phone number

You need to have their phone number entered in Taxcycle in order to send documents to Tax Folder and clients can’t set up a TaxFolder account without entering their phone number. Not sure why you would need this field….

@albertenterprises CRA prints out a form now that requires client to SIGN DATE and ADD PHONE NUMBER

Can you share the name of the form? In theory, if it’s coming from TaxCycle and being sent to TaxFolder to sign, you should have already been able to fill in the phone number in TaxCycle….

Depending on your method of creating the signature request, you can print to PDF and use a PDF editor to add the phone number on the form before manually creating the signature request in TaxFolder.

its coming from the CRA not from taxcycle.

yes that is just extra work which during tax season takes time, if tax folder can add a text field it would make it much easier as other e sign software allows.

Then Sarka has provided the solution above, since it’s not a form in TaxCycle you have to edit it manually yourself before you load it into TaxFolder. This should be tagged as a product suggestion.

OR TAX FOLDER can add a field, again during tax season I dont have the time to to do this, when tax folder can just add TEXT FIELD as it already has added DATE AND SIGN
