Adapting templates and invoices in TC

I have set up custom templates for the client letter, engagement letter, invoices, emails, and a few other things. I also added blanks (letter, fax) ,so I can create letters (to cra, clients, etc) right in the appropriate return and it is saved right there.

This has worked great. If I need to adapt client letter, invoice, etc, I’d go to it and start typing. Now, I can’t edit inside TC. If things went sideways, I could revert back to the template and start again. Is there a new setting for this or are correspondence documents no longer adaptable?

Also, there is the new outline in the client letter that offers to change sincerely, to kind regards. Is this a choice I can globally make. I know I can do it in template edit, just curious if outline choices can be set for all since I imagine this outline will be expanded.
