For some reason the Gross Income is not calculating properly on a T2125. Line 8000 has the income amount, there are no additions on lines 2890 or 8230, yet line 8299 is showing 0.00. This should not be!
you have to check the box at the top for business, professional or commission
has to be the correct box ticked
General Business is checked. The income is commission income on a T4A (which is pretty common on self-employed). I tried to change the checkmark to “commission”, but it won’t allow it.
I had to re-install. That fixed it.
