I think I have the latest version of TaxCycle but cannot download AFR tonight.
So I clicked to download and install 13.0.52269.0 version and now I canāt find my TaxCycle. I normally auto install all upgrades. Now I donāt have anything.
Now I have no Client Manager and a message NO MODULE AVAILABLE Now more than an hour later, and after much frustration, I finally have everything back. I HATE when I have to download - when auto download does not work. Why do I need to remember things like going into settings and find the place to tell TaxCycle that I donāt have a server - it isnāt simple to find - need to go in several levels. And when it still doesnāt work because there are no modules available, I have to remember where and how to refresh my licence. Why does the system not remember; why is it up to me to remember everything that needs to be done? There are times when AI is better than my memory!
ā¦ and it looks like if you waited a few more hours there would be a yet even newer version for automatic download. 13.0.52269.0 Updates are coming out literally on a daily basis.
I guess I am getting to be too old for this. But I canāt file manually - that is much more difficult.
I had the issue that is couldnāt open or find taxcycleā¦ I uninstalled it. Restarted computer and reinstalled it from websiteā¦
It opens BUT now lost my ā Serverā for Client Managerā¦ I am a standalone computerā¦ this stuff baffles meā¦ Why use lingo that does not applyā¦ I am not a computer technician.
Somewhere a long long time ago someone walked me thru this ridiculous process.
I have sent a support ticketā¦ things have really gone downhill latelyā¦
Mine did this with the no module available after the latest install. I opened a data file by clicking on that directly rather than through the program itself and then when I closed the file the modules were all available again and stayed that way. It seems to be a glitch with the latest install. I didnāt have to reinstall the program.
