Should AFR not be available at this time for the 2017 to 2019 years or is it really not available until the 21rst as the Taxcycle message indicates?
I have access to 2021 and 2020 at least as I downloaded those for a client on Friday. I don’t see why you shouldn’t have access to 2017-2019 as a result but I haven’t actually tried it. I was surprised the AFR for 2020 & 2021 was available as typically they are not available until the CRA opens for efiling for the year as well.
Our last release had AFR open for 2020 and 2021 but I had left prior years attached to the EFILE opening date, February 21st.
This week’s release will have AFR open for 2016 through to 2021.
Last year, we were told AFR would open with EFILE. Now we know that AFR never really closes as it is closely tied to Represent a client (RAC).
