We are so glad you joined us.
This community is a place for accountants, bookkeepers and tax preparers to discuss topics related to Canadian tax returns and accounting. Topics include how to use TaxCycle software, tax legislation, EFILE, practice and client management.
This space is not meant to provide advice to individuals seeking assistance preparing their own taxes. If you have a question like this, please contact an accounting professional directly or contact the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
The community is sponsored by Xero, makers of TaxCycle professional tax software.
How to join
You are welcome to join and participate in the community, whether or not you currently use TaxCycle in your practice. If you have already downloaded a trial or purchased TaxCycle, you will already have a TaxCycle Account. Use it to sign in. If you’re new to TaxCycle, create an account.
How to get started
Here are some things you can do to get started:
Lock in your user name. You only have 30 days to change your user name from the default set in your profile. After that, it is locked down to prevent broken links where you have been referred to within the community. Your username is used to refer directly to you in posts and comments. For example, if you type @Elizabeth in a post, Elizabeth gets a notification you mentioned her.
Introduce yourself by adding your picture and information about yourself and your interests to your profile.
Get to know the community by browsing discussions that are already happening here. When you find a post interesting, informative, or entertaining, use the
to show your appreciation or support!
Contribute by commenting, sharing your own perspective, asking questions, or offering feedback in the discussion. Before replying or starting new topics, please review the Community Guidelines.
Earn trust, give respect
The more you participate, the more privileges you have in the community. This helps new members participate safely while they learn what to do. Similarly, it rewards experienced users with more rights and allows them to help maintain and moderate the community they generously contribute so much of their time to.
Help us build a respectful community where everyone is welcome. We have a zero-tolerance for abuse. Please take the time to read and understand our community guidelines.
Have fun!
